Sore mouth

I'm so fed up with having a sore tongue aching teath and gums. It just makes me feel so miserable on top of the other pains I get. I have been to the dentist and been checked out and everythings OK it just the fibro great so another thing to live with.

Have you been checked for tmj ? I know it affects your mouth. Others I am sure no more about it. Luckily that's one pain I don't have. Hugs,Regina

Hi, are you on Gabapentin? I suffered similar gum pain and neuralgia symptoms, but found that the Gabapentin helped.

Hi there Cleaner, I'm sorry you are having such a rough time. I too suffer with a sore mouth, but I do think you should speak to your GP about it rather than your dentist, they may well be able to give you something to help. TMJ may like Regno says be involved, and I have that too but I think a consultation with your GP is the best way to go 😀

I think that some of the medication we have to take has alot to answer for and many of them can give you a dry mouth which can cause soreness. I have had similar problems since I have had fibro. I do find rinsing with Difflam liquid helps and also gently rubbing some toothpaste for sensitive teeth along the gum line but as the others say I would visit your GP to rule out other things first. Good luck as i know it is not pleasant.x

I take vitamin c when I get sores in my mouth, or sore throat....clears it up....stress causing this I believe. Good luck

I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I sincerely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. As your dentist as given you a clean bill of health it may be time to discuss these issues with your GP just to get other conditions ruled out of the equation. I get the same thing like my teeth hurt and my gums and my jaw all together it kills xyes I think it's part fibrio as. I'm having a flire up and its been like it for 2 weeks x
