I have had a `thick` lip twice in the last week, really swollen on one side of my bottom lip as if someone has smacked it.I've also had a really dry mouth, swollen tongue and the inside of my mouth is really sore.(note to self, don't try to eat peanut butter toast with a sore mouth!) I've been a bit wheezy as well .Has anyone any ideas?

SOUNDS LIKE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO ME AMANDA HAVE YOU CHANGED ANY MEDS AT ALL ? X
Hi yes it might be,trouble is I've had a lot of my tablets increased in the last few weeks so it's going to be difficult to find out which one is doing it! I'm seeing GP on Wednesday so I'll ask her then.
Hi Amanda
I have had a sore mouth for the last year. Only just found out that it was reflux. I was not getting indigestion since having anwrap a few years back, but my mouth was dry and sore when \i ate or drank so many things. And I started getting soreness and swelling at the sides. A small dose of Omeprazole has changed it back, at last.
Good that you have an appointment soon. xx
Hi Amanda
As well as having Fibro I was diagnosed as also having Urticaria and Angiodoema this condition causes swellings to appear all over my body at any time, day or night, the Consultant did an Ige blood test and it shown that I was allergic to many foods as well including strawberries, peas, chick peas, peppers and soya, it also shown that I was highly allergic to all nuts and therefore I have to carry an epipen at all times, I was very fit and this all happened just before my 50th birthday, before that day my only allergy was to hayfever, you should ask your GP for an allergy test.
Hi ,yes I have thought about allergies.Several time in the past I have had rashes but they were on my legs.I thought it may be a reaction to something I've eaten this time as my mouth is affected. The other thought I had was.is it fibro in my mouth is this possible?
Amanda I would pop along and see your GP because this doesn't sound like a Fibro symptom to me. It's best to get it checked out, it may be an allergic reaction, an infection, it's hard to say to be honest. Please let us know how you get on. Take care.
