If you want to smile and get what cricket Test matches are about wow Aussies out for 60 runs in less than 19overs! Smile laugh as it all may turn to English tears later in match. So far so good!

Yay....go England, at least we are holding our own to a fair degree this year, rather than the usual whitewash........🇬🇧🇬🇧👍🏻😃

Not into cricket unfortunately since Bothers retired, more of a footie fan (yippee it starts on Saturday) but always glad when England does well against the Aussies. Think the England captain is rather dishy so I suppose I could watch him instead of the cricket.xx

Cricket - far more interesting than football, snooker, golf, tennis......what one enjoys and makes them happy validates their choices 😉😳😃😃

I can remember being in Norfolk this time ten years ago and being in a house party where some of the guests were very ardent cricket fans. It was a quintessentially British thing, the ladies playing croquet on a lovely lawn, with the odd splosh as a koi carp made its presence known in the moat some lying in the sun reading, then having afternoon tea, followed later by Pimms, the silence and sophistication only broken by huge hollers from the "chaps" inside who were busy drinking "tinnys" and leaping around the morning room like lunatics (they'd been banned from the rest of the house).......... When we eventually won, out came the champagne which flowed all evening through a very drunken supper party. Aaahh what it is to be the only sober person in a room full of people making utter fools of themselves and sporting the hangovers from hell the next day👍🏻😃😃 😂

Foggy x

There is nothing like a game of cricket against the Ossie to bring out the Englishness in folk! And of course it went more in our direction again today also x x
