Gosh do I !!! I'm also diabetic & I thought that was the problem but I have good foot pulses so maybe it is the Fibro

I have it literally 24/7 and cant go outside because of it! Ive been tested for diabetes like 10 times and I definitely dont have it so its got to be part of Fibro!

my feet are permanently freezing and like the others i have been tested for diabetes and dont have it so it must be something to do with the fibro. A decent pair of thermal socks is recommended xx

I have constant cold painful feet, even in the summer. I've tried buying larger socks (can't stand having anything restrictive on any part of my body) but to no avail. I would say it's definitely the Fibro :(

Ive tried thermal socks but ive ended up having to wear toe warmers but unfortunately they have stopped selling the decent ones. I dont know any other ways to help myself or others anymore to solve this problem xx

Hi

I get very cold feet and hands, not able to wear socks cos ankles swell a lot, My gp thinks I have Raynauds as well though. Not been checked for diabetes, think will get gp to check it out though.

Take care gentle hugs love Sheena xxxxx :-) :-) :-)

Yes, I do especially my left one. I have been checked for diabetes and don't have that. Have a hot water bottle even in the summer.

I have this all the time, told my gp, surprise surpise didn't care !! The cold I feet I suffer with are like those of a dead person, the cold n pain goes halfway up my legs, I wear thermal socks n slippes and nothing helps. What really pisses me off, is when I DO GO (not very often) to the doctors every symptom is because I have fibromyalgia, its blamed for every symptom I have which I find quite scary...FED UP WITH FIBRO HAD IT OVER 15YEARS NOW AND STILL MY FAMILY N FRIENDS DON'T UNDERSTAND IT !!!!!!!! YET I HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT EVERYDAY :( X

I have extremely cold hands all the time, never had excessively cold feet, though. I have special gloves that warm my hands up, so I would think there should be something out there for cold feet! xxxxxx

I have fluffy socks to hand as my feather pillow usually keeps my feet warm enough - lucky me. My hands get cold easily too. I am thinking of getting some arthritus gloves as I have the beginnings of osteoarthritus in the joints - they certainly hurt enough and I have been told I have signs. So they may help keep my hands warm - although in the past they have got too hot! We shall see. I also have problems with swollen feet so all socks have to be the loose and most have tight elastic which is so annoying when you can't shop around!!! [Reduced mobility].

Hope that was of help/interest - sorry to gabble.

I have always had cold feet, i cant remember ever not. Even before the fibro. Not just cold but actual blocks of ice. If my partner is invading my space in the bed i just put my feet on him and it shocks him awake. They are that bad!

Im not diabetic and never have been. I have poor circulation, and as such restless leg syndrome, which i have discovered since using this forum is quite common with FM sufferers. I think there may be a link with FM and poor circulation. Studies have shown that FM sufferers have low blood pressure so that would certainly lead to bad circulation and body parts furthest away from the heart becoming quite cold.

Hi All yes I get cold feet too; checked for diabetes but although I did have it, I have lost so much weight that for 2 years my blood tests etc have come back clear so the nurse says it isn't that. Restless legs too, bally thigs keep me awake besides the pain. Oh woe is me, I am so miserable! Today I am sort of cheerful, but yesterday and other days I am so unhappy and depressed that I now attend our local Mental Health Unit. Take care everyone, Love J

Oh yes very cold feet....I find two pairs of tights work best for me. Bed-socks, hot water bottles. Bad circulation, hands blue outside, have to wear gloves.... silk inner gloves are really good, before outer ones! Tested for diabetes, but no. Low blood pressure yes..... and the added bonus of varicose veins! How sexy are they! Had op to strip them twice, but they're back....ache like mad & are so attractive. :{ Annette -x-
