I had such a lovely day yesterday. We went to Blenheim Palace. Walked around the house and grounds ached a bit but just tried to ignore it. Anyway had a bad night sleep everything hurt now this morning I feel like I've been run over by a bus and have to go to work. Being self employed and haveing yesterday day of I can't afford to take time of. Fibromyelger is such a new sense. You just can't seem to have fun without it reminding you its still there

Yes, I know what you mean. My boyfriend has been over this weekend and we went on a few walks - slow leisurely ones with lots of sitting down. I felt wiped out yesterday and today feel the same. I was supposed to go into Uni today (I'm a postgraduate student) but skipped it and am working from home but have to go in later in the week for a meeting. It's an hour drive there and back and wipes me out for two days afterwards. I would not have thought about it before but now find I have to plan things and pace myself. Also I'm still undiagnosed with anything so feel a right idiot telling people I can't do so and so because I'm 'tired and achy'....

Take care hope you get the rest you need.

I know how you feel, I haven't been diagnosed either and feel like people think you're making excuses. Luckily my boss is really understanding and will work with me, adjusting my hours when I have a flare. I usually describe it as an exhausted period. The problem is that I never know how bad it will be or how long it will last. Just limit what you do as much as possible to make sure you get plenty of rest. Take care
