Go to the website gov.com then find tax and NI contributions section there should be contact details there. I think in the ESA rejection letter they told me they would pay my stamp but I contacted them to check how much I had paid in over the years.

Good luck

Patrick.

Hi Patrick,

So , I gather that you applied for ESA to get them . Does that mean you had to go through all the long assesement process too ? And what evidence from the gp is acceptable ?, as I reduced my hours long ago with the gps' knowledge .

Thankyou for responding

If you go on the Gov.UK site and type in National Insurance Contributions it will give you all the information you need. Of course if you were able to claim ESA or claimed JSA, etc you would have your contributions credited automatically.

Good luck with it all.x

Hi Lara, No they told me straight up because by partner earns £222 pounds a week, just, £111 pounds each is considered enough to live on per adult. No ESA or JSA to be awarded. Despite us having a thirteen year old they said they would pay my stamp but nothing else. So no point in applying. What really ticks me off is I paid National Insurance of my own at about eight times the rate my wife pays as she is a part time nurse and I worked a well paid full time job so I paid my NI for nothing all those years! I truly feel robbed by my own government. Sorry this doesn't really address your original question.

Patrick.
