Hi i have seen loads of posts re p.i.p and some get full care n mobility some get low rate both some get turned down...so guess it depends what you tell them u need help doing and showing them u r in need of that help
There have been quite a few posts whereby members have been awarded good amounts just recently. If you have had a poor return you could ask for a reconsideration of your award notice?
I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
This is what has just happened to me got some points but not enough. However, that was pre op of my mid foot fusion, and also diagnosis of my Fibromyalgia last Thursday by a Rheumatologist. I have already got a meeting booked with my C.A.B. for next Friday. I will fight it all the way.
Yes they do, i put in for it a few months ago and was awarded the highest on both, i think it depends on how bad it is actually affecting your day to day living.

Hi Katy198
NHS recognise Fibro as a chronic condition, I had my 1st PIP done on Friday, in Scotland the PIP is done by SALUS (NHS) sub contracted by ATOS I was told it will be at least 8 weeks for DWP to inform me of the decision, i really don't know how i got on, the "nurse" I saw still had a strong nationality accent i think she came from Sierra Leone or even Liberia but you get my meaning I'm sure, I found it hard to hear & understand, I've been in a chronic flare up & think some of her questions that i gave detailed answers to only required a yes or no answer, or so my sister told me when i went out ha ha certainly SALUS was a less stressful place to visit staff / nurses very pleasant & try put you at ease, advice for you ask DWP for a copy of your PIP assessment, welfare rights told me to ask at my PIP appointment, but they don't do that I've been adviced to phone DWP tomorrow , best of luck 😐 x
