me too, I also have another condition though.
but mention it at your next app't.
it's important to always mention new or concerning symptoms.
I think it's just part of getting more tired as the day goes on. I used to be loudly spoken, not so anymore. Intolerant to noise in general too, part and parcel of fibro.
I haven't seen a symptom list on this site, intolerance to noise, light and smells can be symptoms of fibro
this is the FibroAction Uk website fibroaction.org/
you might find this useful

I wrote a long reply but probably forgot to 'submit'. So, more briefly I have a symptoms list (59) bullet points style, it's really useful for highlighting and showing to medics and such. It used to be found on 'Arthritis Foundation' (USA). Newly diagnosed or undiagnosed, new symptoms, refreshing memory :-D, DLA/PIP applications, family, friends, carers etc. etc. The only condition/symptom it didn't have was Costochondritis which a lot of people with fibro seem to have
Thanks for the links hamble, I had been through list and list trying to find such a list but went way back date wise and scrolling gives me migraines
I was very interested in this posting because I have a vit D deficiency disorder and have very recently been diagnosed witha multinodular goitre as an incidental finding on a CTPA scan. Fibro, vit D and thyroid disorders are often linked so I understand albeit I am a novice to this. For further info I would advise researching hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism The signs and symptoms of fibro and thyroid disorders are very similar.
Please note the NHS only do the basic screening for thyroid disorders thus missing the correct diagnosis. Hoarseness, breathlessness, irritability, anxiety, depression, muscular aches, pains, inflammation, painful joints, feeling hot and/or cold, fatigued, no motivation are some of the signs and symptoms of thyroid disorder.
TSH Free T4 T£ thyroid antibodies need screening as well as thyroid globulins. Look up Hasimotos disease this is when the thyroid is attacked by antibodies and starts to malfunction. This can sway from hypothyroidisn to hyperthyroidism or vice versa.
Please research all this for yourselves just to check that all the info is correct as this is new to me but I think I have got most of the salient points correct.
Hope this helps.
It could be cfs/M.E it's usually common to have both conditions . . Some people with M.E/cfs lose their voice completely.
I am so sorry to read that, and I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck. It is not a problem that I suffer with but that does not mean it is not Fibro related.
All my hopes and dreams for you
