Hi and welcome to the site I've found it to be a constant comfort too not feeling so odd and out of place, I feel at home here and always help and advice available to me. I would also add its great when you can help someone else.
This is probably one of the most difficult things for a fibro person to do but if you can get a list of things that effect you cause you pain a kind of how and when list this will help her know what pain relief you'll need. I say difficult cause I have the greatest probs remembering and organising things in my memory. so I might suggest a list you can refer back to, for your visit. ~I would also suggest that a fibro management course, your doctor can refer you for this, as fibro unmanaged can get worse and complicate things immensely. And that seems like quite a time bracket for you to wait to see a someone to diagnose you. Please don't panic, its a course that's really helpful and help one to understand the condition so much more. Although we all have fibro there are those that have other conditions that up our stress = more fibro symptoms. This means that although we are the same there are different complications to go with it.

Thanks so much, even housework makes me feel exhausted... I work full time and your right stress makes it hard too. Been suffering for a long time really hard to get a diagnosis cause until I research it all my symptoms are on the list..could not believe it..if only diagnosed sooner, thought I was going mad! Lol xx
Hi Tea1234

There are many different medications that you could discuss and it is usually a case of trial and error to ascertain which ones work best for you. So please do not feel disheartened if your first prescription of drugs does not work too good for you.
I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you
