Did you actually mean Polymyalgia, if you did I just cut and pasted this from a web page for you:-

Polymyalgia and fibromyalgia are inflammatory conditions with symptoms that may be hard to tell apart. When you have polymyalgia, you feel pain and stiffness in the muscles in your shoulders, arms, hips, and neck. This feeling often comes after you’ve spent time resting.

Fibromyalgia can also cause muscle pain and stiffness in the same parts of the body. Yet, people with fibromyalgia tend to experience other symptoms as well, including:

tiredness

trouble sleeping

memory problems

Hello Nemsi,

Please can I provide you with some information about Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) from patient.co.uk & the NHS website;

patient.co.uk/doctor/polymy...

nhs.uk/conditions/Polymyalg...

I also wanted to mention that Fibromyalgia is not an inflammatory condition. You can read information about diagnosis, the 'Knowing your diagnosis' link within this may be of help in your current situation.

If I may ask, have you been diagnosed or are the medics suggesting this is the likely diagnosis but are doing more tests?

healthunlocked.com/fibroact...

As you mention the symptoms of PMR do not really fit, please see the link for Fibro symptoms which may be of interest;

fibroaction-public.sharepoi...

I hope this helps

Best Wishes

Emma :)

Thanks Emma, I'm having more tests, but the doctor thought that was the likely outcome. Xx
