I'm sorry to hear that Mrs. Unfortunately, so many family memebers don't. It took my husband years to finally understand what all I go through. Get him some reading material on fibro, or have him go to the internet. There is alot of stuff on youtube and fibro sites. Maybe that will help. Good luck!

Thank you he has looked it up and knows what is means I feel he struggles with me having it and execpt me to do the same things as him including going away and visiting friends who live miles away, the thought makes me feel awful. I just feel alone especially at weekends when he's off out all the time playing golf, riding his new motorbike and I'm sat watching TV because I'm too tired too move.

Maybe you could agree to try to do one activity with him (watching or partaking) one day every other weekend? That's what I do with my husband. Even if it's just a walk aroud the local loch, and then I come home and nap. At least I feel - and he acknowledges - that I've made an effort and spent some quality time with him and our children. And remember to take pain relief BEFORE you head out and get all sore and stiff, they're more effective before the damage gets done so to speak. Hope that helps a little.

As for getting him to understand the condition, the more he reads about it, the more he'll understand. There are so many forums and information websites and books available.

Sadly, many people cannot understand many medical conditions because they have never had to live with it. I often wonder if this is why some doctors are not very understanding?

Good luck
