Numbness

Hi all, has anyone ever had numbness in their face and arm? I woke up with it this morning. My throat feels strange too. X

Yes I've had this, especially when hafing pain on that side e.g. in the shoulder hope it passes soon for you

Thankyou, I have contacted my gp now and waiting for a call back as its gradually going across my face. I hope it is part of fibro on one hand atleast I will be able to deal with it. X

Arms, yes, nearly every morning when I wake up its one of both arms completely numb, I thought this was one of the main symptoms of Fibro, x

Dr said it's quite common in fibro they have no scientific reason for it but thinks mine is linked to fatigue, xx

I am so sorry to read that you are experiencing this and I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. This is not anything that I have experienced myself, the only thing in I have had in my face is a pain that is akin to a burning / ache.

Hi Ken, I get pain across my sinus' feels like they are inflamed which I know is fibro & now I know that the numbness is too, I can just add it too my list of symptoms. This condition just keeps on giving. X

HI i don't get numbness in my arms but I do do get it in my hands (very annoying)! as for my throat it very often swell up and I find it hard to swallow.

Hi blue jeans16, this condition has so many various symptoms its hard to keep up, I have to keep a medical diary so I remember what I need to speak to the dr about coz I forget otherwise. X

I wrote down all my symptoms when I first went to the dr. Like you said there are so many different symptoms.
