Numbness in back

Not sure if this is a symptom of fibromyalgia but the last couple of days my back has been really sore with flare up but I keep getting pins and needles and then numbness on one side of my spine in the middle. When it's not doing this it's just really sore?...anyone else experience this? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I would honestly urge you to get an appointment with your GP as soon as you can, pins and needles and numbness like that can be down to several things and I think it is important that you are assessed by a medic.

Sending you lots of positive vibes :-)

Hi Jonesy831

I am so sorry to read that you are experiencing this unpleasant issue, and I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. I would always recommend that anyone who starts with new symptoms should always discuss them with their GP or Medical Specialist just to rule other things out of the equation, as not every pain will be Fibro.

I want to wish you all the best of lcuk, and please make an appointment with your GP or Medical Specialist to get other things ruled out?

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken x

I have to agree. I put up with tingling in my legs, prickly feet & numbness in my fingertips. Dr blamed fibre, but after some time off work, my company asked me to see there Doctor. He told me to go to my Dr again with urine sample to check for an infection. I did as I was told to discover glucose off the dip stick. I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for a month now over Christmas was difficult.

I do not suggest you have diabetes, but too demonstrate not all symptoms are fibroaction. Good luck, hope you improve soon :-)

yes I have numb hands and feet its horable they say take vitamin D but it makes no deference to me x

im experiencing the same sensations in my spine. i just keep putting them done to the fibro. i have a bad case of allergy flare ups at the moment. im allergic to pet hair, and although this really iritates me i have a dog and two cats. since i can remember ive had lots of different symptoms of fibro. the most wierdest is my jaw is very painful when i go to eat for the first time of the day, it starts at the base of my ear. it kills but then it goes after a few chews of food. what is your weirdest symptom? kind regards. nicola

I have loads of symptoms and always heel like a hypochondriac! Lol. I get jaw pain too and the muscles near my temples are always sore. I also get a strange pain in my jaw and gums and it always feels like my teeth are itchy!
