Flaring badly but I did it! Charity Walk for NRAS ( National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society) ticked off my bucket list of things to do.

Brighton Color Run!! I did it! I managed to walk/hobble the 5k alongside eighteen of my amazing friends. I am still in a bad flare two weeks later, But the pain is so worth the sense of achievement I feel.

Wonderful memories made from a fantastic day! Thank you to everyone that donated to my chosen charity. I managed to raise just over £350 for the NRAS who I have found so very supportive over the last year. Thank you xxx

What an absolutely wonderful achievement you must be very proud of yourself and all your friends who joined you. The mere thought of it makes me want to retire to my bed. It looks as though you had a wonderful day for it. What is 5k in miles as I am afraid for distances I am certainly not metric?x

Thank you so much! I do feel proud of myself and I can't deny I found it very difficult but my friends were so supportive and held my hand the whole way! It's 3.5 miles, not a huge distance for many people, but for me it felt like a marathon!

Xxx
