anyone had an ablasion op ?

i had an ablasion op 6 years ago due to heavy painfull periods the op was a success my periods stopped completley i have had no problems to do with this op but im clutching at straws here i was told i had fibro and several other things bout 3 years ago but i have been being treated for the last 10 years since january i have suffered violent pains in my thighs grion knees and pelvis first i was told it was fibro then a couple of months ago i was told it was a tilted pelvis now after many treatments injections patches xrays and meds im not convinced anyone has got it right so over the weekend ive been doing my own research as i need some answers and i looked up about the ablasion op i had and have read that you can develope post ablasion syndrome which includes all the symptoms i have i now you shouldnt self diagniose but im at my whits end i may be wrong but i am clinging on to anythink at the mo rang my gp today cant see my gp for aweek so has to settle with an appointment with the nurse im so sorry to waffle but was just wondering if anyone out there is experiencing the same or similar problems wish me look guys my app is 1.15pm today thankyou for taking the time to read take care joanne x

sorry that you are suffering badly at the moment. All I can say is that I had it done 14 yrs ago and have had no problems whatsoever.

If there were going to be problems I would have expected to be one of those suffering as when i had it done they were only just starting to do the op on this country. The hospital I went to was the only one at the time and were training doctors from other hospitals on how to do it.

I hope you get things sorted soon.

I am so sorry to read that you are still suffering in this way, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. I had never heard of it before and have had a quick read and it really does sound very unpleasant indeed!

I genuinely hope that you find the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve.

Hi I also had it done about 14 year ago and had no problems since. I carried on been a pe teacher for 10year after that until I got hit by alsorts of different ailments.
