I have been looking forward to my 2 weeks holiday thinking that away from the stress of work I would feel better, but coming to the end of the first week and pain is worse, been having nice slow walks everyday sometimes I use a stick and a few times I have come home and gone to sleep, all I have done today is shortened a few pairs of trousers and at times the pain was so bad I had to get up and walk around awhile, it feel's like working full time is the norm and but painful then anything outside my norm makes the pain worse, I'm sure most of you feel the same but just had to tell someone that knows what I'm talking about.

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way and that it is spoiling your eagerly awaited holiday. I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. I think from a personal perspective when we get use to a routine then so do our bodies, and when we change that routine things can go wrong for us.
I can relate to what you are saying in that I suffer from severe migraines and insomnia, but if I do sleep too heavy (more than 4 to 5 hours), I wake up with a migraine. So I understand what you are saying.
All my hopes and dreams for you

I am no expert, but it is possible that you are using a different set of muscles and they dont like it.
Totally relate- its why i get so cross when they say flares are stress induced. They're not for me at all, but totally random. Thing is not to give yourself a hard time- if thats all you can manage then thats ok. My house is a bombsite. I know this flare will pass and i will get the energy to clean up. For now just allow yourself to rest up and get a good box set or book (unless u are like me and cant read or watch tv in a flare- then i generally quietly listen to the radio) take care. H
So Sorry Sweetheart!!! With this illness we have limits. Our mind says yes but our bodies say you better not. It's a whole new way of living, that's for sure. Have you tried going to a pain clinic honey? They helped me to make the pain bearable. I fought it for years but got to the point I no longer could. Hope this helps and you feel better!!! Hang in there!!! xxxx Mitzi
