Pain clinic visit

Hello everyone well I had my appointment this morning saw doc told him everything and what meds I'm taking and have tried I've got a group session to book and I've got to have injections through a drip thanks everyone who replied to my post so hopefully I might get some rest bite from this pain fingers crossed I really hope they can help me x

Good luck ,I sent off a booklet today ,so they can asses my mental health I think towards my condition. How long were you there

The whole of 10 minutes ! I just had to tell him about my health and what meds I'm on and have tried then he said would I like an appointment with group to discuss my options which I said yes and then he said he think I would benifit from injections thru a drip so will get appointment for that too and that was it x

Oh ! I have been told I will be there for 2 hour sessions , it's going to be interesting to see the diffrence between health authority's :)

Me too I will try anything at the mo as nothing else is working I think the group one will be longer shadow walker x

Glad that it looks as though you have had two positive outcomes from your Pain Clinic visit. Hope the Group one helps and you get some pain relief from the dripx

hi just reading your post and was wondering where your pain is as i have been to the pain clinic twice for severe thigh pain had nerve BLock injections and a lidocaine infusion through drip in hand (very powerful ive since been told ) im not being negative as we are all differant but i have just been told by my physio that my severe pain is mostly being caused by a tilted pelvis just a thought hope your treatment works for you just wanted to put it out there as ive been treated for fibro for over 10 years and only just found this out ,take care joanne x

Hi Joanne I'm awaiting a knee replacement I had a bad accident 20 yeasts ago which left me with a lot of metal pins and plates and screws holding my leg together and no cartailidge so it's been bone on bone since I'm also riddled with arthritis and have 3 degenerative discs in lower back I'm in agony all the time I've been on numerous medications am now taking pregabaline co codamol codeine mirtazipine but nothing is touching it could you tell me what they do with the drip in hand what I'm now waiting for please just so I know what to expect can't wait to have it tho hopefully I will get a bit of rest bite from this pain thanks for replying x
