deformity of elbows
Hi just looked at my arms, in same position look just like yours. Do not think anything wrong with them, i do a lot of sewing and knitting and i know you cross stitch, maybe that has something to do with hand angle??
Hi anbuma
I think Shazzzy could be on to something with that? After all, you do undertake a lot of sewing and cross stitch? Must admit the camera angle isn't too good (that is what you get with selfie's) so it is very difficult to see where any problems are?
Take care

I know it is difficult to see as couldnt get my shoulder in.i can see how possibly doing craftwork could cause arthritis in hands but cant really see how it could cause elbow to be like it is.-a fibromyalgia thing?my arms are quite thin compared to the rest of me .my knees are the same.if I put my knees straight my feet turn outwards and if I put my feet together my knees turn inwards.
Mine look like that and are perfectly normal. When you hold your arm in that position, the hand naturally turns inwards as it's connected to the arm in that way. You have to twist your arm quite significantly to get the palms turning up. If I hold my left arm out, the outside of my arm is on the left, with the back of the hand in the same position, and the inside of my arm is on the right with the palm facing out to the right. In order to get the palm facing up, you have to twist you arm and wrist anti-clockwise and it feels quite unnatural. Like Fibro says, I too am very flexible (hyper mobile in most joints).
post pics of yours.?
I've tried to, but for some reason it won't accept the image
my shoulders are also affected
hi bluebell99
I wouldnt fancy having that done either.my joints dont feel that stiff but are swollen ,painful and sore.cannot carry shopping ,my shoulders are also permanently forward-cnat put them back-have curvature of lower spine and now also the top of spine/neck, im 55 by the way.
