Painful elbows ..

Hi, have been suffering very bad with my inner elbows, have mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, have been to see a Doctor at my Health Centre today, he is a part time GP but the rest of the time an Orthopaedic surgeon, He examined me and told me i had Golfers Elbows, cant inject them because of Fibro, suggested Physio, cant wait, really going to help that ..he said the Fibro makes the condition a lot worse, I also have seen an ENT specialist this week, who very kindly put a camera up my nose, then examined my throat, both nostrils, he then put me on the examination bed, i am suffering with very bad dizziness when i lay down, he laid me down very quickly to which i thought i was falling off the bed but i wasn't, he said i have got Benign proximal vertigo, so this story is made very short, so if you have any of these symptoms, this may help, so apart from all the other problems hey ho just have to get on with it, good job we are strong people us Fibro`s, x

You forgot your paragraphs hun Sorry, just mentioning it for those of us who can't cope with a lot of words together.

I've mentioned my inner elbows before here too. They really hurt don't they. I heard it was Golfers Elbow too, might have been on here. I don't think I fancy injections there anyway, makes me eyes water thinking about it.

You don't realise how much you 'use' your inner elbows do you. I'm always leaning somewhere, on the desk or the arm rest in the car and it just really hurts.

Don't fancy physio on them either......

You're right, we're strong old birds - and young birds and chaps - with this fibro.

oh dear you have been through it my elbows hve been sore last few days it is horrible i have never head of golfers elbow ? my partner would find it funny if i had that he loves and playd=s golf every week lol love to you diddle x

I have bad elbows to when I bend down I have a job to get back up again because they hurt and can't get myself up very quickly. My knees are sore to, I hope physo works take care xx

I have golfers & tennis elbow on my right arm. Dr says it's because I'm "doing too much" with that arm as I'm waiting for an op on my left shoulder! Grrrr!

As I'm not an octopus with more choice of which arm to use, guess i'm stuck with them for now! Lol! xx

I am sorry, but I cannot help but chuckle! When my hubby gets out of the shower he will fall about laughing at me having golfers elbow! He has just come in from it and I have never done it more than one try at the range - pinched my hand and was rubbish so never bothered. Costs too much.

Not fair anyway. Got something thats supposed to cost a lot to get, not done it and still not got the money either!

By the way, if you type a lot and cannot do paragraphs as you go, re-read what you have put, make your changes and pop the paras in then! Find where you change the subject or time - say talking about yesterday and today etc.

It pays to re-read anyway as you can then see if you said what you meant to!
