Morning all, seen my Doctor this week and was asked to try a Low Oxilate Diet to help my Fibro, has anyone else tried this diet and did it improve your Fibro?

You can get details of the diet or what not to eat at lowoxilate.info

So you are corn free colour free low salt diet it is promoted for fibromites. I actually eat corn but not wheat as I have intolerance. I tried the suggested link but no joy, however, there is lots on this sort of diet if you just put lowoxilate in your search engine. Good luck

No sorry, but I have found that cutting out processed foods and eating less overall (weight loss too) has helped ease my fibro symptoms.

Not heard of this before which surprised me as I thought I had done it all. Just looked it up and read a Daily Mail article of two years ago. Unfortunately just bought many of the things on the list to avoid!

Will be very interest to hear how you get on.

Hi,

yes a fellow Fibro friend has tried it but it didn't help her at all. That said, we are all different so it may well help others.

Just wondering how you are getting on with this diet. I was very interested in it after doing some research as I have a leaky gut. have been trying to keep to it and my IBS has improved.
