Oh my goosh I'm hurting sooo much :(
It sounds like cyatica don't know if I spelt that correctly. (Sy-attic-a) is how it sounds but I have fibro and can you try to describe your pain ? My cyatica hurts usually when I move if yours is sore when your still it could be something else the best advice I can give is to see your doctor and for pain relief try a tens machine, they are around £30 and can be bought online or from pharmacies they give you little electric shock which aren't painful and confuse nerve signals. The pain clinic told me to try to use it for 4 hours each day . Hope this helps xx
Hi Iwillgetby, do you get pain going down your arm, down to the tips of your little finger? Almost as though you've got electric shocks going thru' the nailbed? That's the kind of pain I get with my trapped nerve in my neck. The pain I get with the one between my shoulder blades is a sharp pinching pain when I bend down to pick anything up off the floor. I saw my gp last week as I thought I had another one lower down my back, but he thinks it is muscle spasms this time. Lucky me eh?! Gentle hugs, Julie x
Hi Iwillgetby
I am so sorry to read that you are suffering with this issue, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. It does sound like some kind of trapped nerve, but I am not a doctor so I cannot say for sure.
I have pasted you a link to the webMD pages on Fibro, and in particular this is a slide show of where Fibro pain is tested in the 'Tender Point Test'. So hopefully you will be able to relate to this:

It is well worth discussing this with your GP just to get anything else ruled out. I want to wish you all the best of luck with this.
All my hopes and dreams for you

I'm not sure, but in September of 2012 I had terrible neck, shoulder, and sometimes the back of my head pain. I couldn't even lay my head down on a pillow. My muscles were in knots. The only thing that helped was going to the pain clinic, as I couldn't even sleep. It was as if I was straining my muscles while trying to relax. Hope this helps. Plus everyone experiences their own type of pain from this disease. Hope you find some relief sweetheart. xxx Mitzi
I had that same pain and it was from a pinched nerve they couldn't see it so they ruled it out but one doctor found it to be Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and there is no way to see it he had a test done that check the conductivity and it showed it TOS. I had to have surgery but very few people have surgery because you don't know if it is TOS until you are open up.
