Evening. Sorry to hear your foot is misbehaving. Does it get worse in the heat or does it not go away I ask because I have rotten ankles which after years of messing they decided it was lymphedema. It took6 years to be identified. Xxgins

Hi Lifeback

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering with a swollen foot, it can be so unpleasant. To be honest, when I have a test I never ask the receptionist I always make an appointment to see my GP, does your surgery not work that way? As I know some surgeries are different? It may help to visit your GP and discuss the results of your x-ray?

A swollen foot can be caused by so many things that it is really difficult to say what it could be? My right foot swells up but I have Arthritis in my ankle and I also have sciatic nerve damage, and my wife's feet swell because they retain fluid due to her MS, so as I say, it could be caused by so many things that discussing this with the GP would be best I think?

I want to wish you all the bets of luck with finding some resolution and relief to this issue.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I have swollen feet and hands. My mother and grandmother do / did as well. Like Gins told lympodema . Taking furosemide to reduce fluid but according the packet these can give you muscle pain. However without them can't find shoes to fit so a catch 22.
