I'm sorry you're feeling so bad and that your hospital appointment was cancelled. I take it from your post that you didn't know till you got there which is disgraceful. Sending hugs and kisses and hope you feel better soon.xxxx

What are you using for pain? Have you tried therapeutic massage or visual imagery as a way direct focus off the pain? I do hope the pain subsides soon.

Im on gabapenten , naproxen , codeien phosphates, I haven't tried those as I suffer from fibromyalgia so at the mo I cant cos of tenderness of the joints

I used to take gabapenten for my peripheral neuropathy. I take naproxen or other pain meds only when needed. Visual imagery can help. It is a form of meditating. Visualize being in one of your favorite places and bring back the great memories. This can make you feel better.

I found lots of magnesium supplements help my pain. Also avoiding tomatoes, white potatoes, peppers, aubergines really help with my fibro pains.

So sorry to hear that you have been let down by the hospital. Hopefully they will send you a new appt in the next couple of days, if they don't give them a ring and chase it up. Have a good rest as I bet your body is in overdrive because of the stress. I think it is a weather thing as well as I am all sharp pains today. Hope it improves soonx

May I ask if u were seeing someone at Derriford just for Fybro? Sorry your not feeling that good. I always find it bad at this time of year coz of the constantly changing weather. Gentle hugs

It would depend on your insurance plan. Ask your GP.
