I am so sorry to read that you have got Fibro and osteoarthritis. I genuinely hope that your medication works well for you.

I have pasted you the NHS Choices link that tells you all about Meloxicam, it is an arthritic medication. However, I have never personally taken this drug.

Hi s glad you managed a good appointment. Meloxicam is a good pain reliever especially for arthritic/ osteoporosis pain. I found it worked well it can have some side effects as most meds. Good luck I hope it is the one for you but dont worry there are others. So if at first you don't succeed try try again! But I thinks you will be fine xgins

I took meloxicam and my blood pressure shot up and heart rate increased check that daily I am on a blood pressure med now good luck

I'm so pleased your appointment went well.

I also had my 1st visit to the pain clinic yesterday and found it really wonderful to sit down with someone who actually believe's in our pain.

Lol though after sitting and talking for a while i was asked to stick my tounge out, i thought this was a little strange, the lady said that i had chronic pain and she could tell by looking at the whiteness on the tounge, the lovely lady then asked me to lay on the bed where she continued talking about releasing the pain through Chinese medication as my body would'nt be able to do exercise as the moment.

Asked if that was ok i then had to sign a consent form, i honestly did'nt expect the national health to use acupuncture.

OMG it was so painful when the needles went in i felt like one of foggy's funny cats jumping out of there skins and hanging on the ceiling for dear life...

Well i'm still waiting for fibro to vanish and i did'nt sleep last night, so i'll let you know how my 2nd visit goes next fri.....

lol thats if i make it, if i'd known what the doc's had in mind for me im not sure i would have been looking forward to the pain clinic so much....

thank you for your reply i do hope that your feeling very well on this beautiful sunny day.

I must say that i did manage to sort my garden out yesterday and it looks lovely even if i do say so myself.

Was it the acupunchure? or just just a good day awarded by fibro?

Well lol my friend had a bad night and feeling like i'm 90 again this morning!!!!!!!
