Hi there hobblealong

I call myself that a lot you know :)

Sadly, yes, I find it very painful. I have socks under a pillow to put on my feet before getting out of bed because I can't bare it. I have the most hyper-sensitive feet you could ever imagine, the neurologist agreed with that when he nearly got kicked in the face and I'd warned him on purpose too :o

Funnily enough my OH had to pin my feet down while he cut my toenails today LOL he still had to do a lot of ducking and diving!!

To be honest my whole body is affected but my feet feel it the worst. Apart from the sock thing I don't really know what to suggest I'm afraid :(

Sending soft fluffies to help your soothe your feet hunny

What causes it?

in reply tohobblealong

No idea I'm afraid :(

I'm hypersensitive to just about everything and have always put it down to that :o could be circulatory but I'd be guessing, if it's causing you a lot of worry please have a chat with your GP he/she may be able to tell you what causes it or send you for tests even.

If you do find out before me could you let me know as I'll let you know too if I find out also :D I've suffered with it for as long as I can remember but just learned how to lessen the impact of it :)

Try the socks it does help to lessen the impact :) but still go see your GP as I'm not a medical practicioner. I hope you find answers too and I shall get in touch if I find anything out, take care xx

I will. I keep elastic bandage by my bed to slip into. They put enough pressure on the foot to allow walking to the loo during the night.

good idea i never thought of that!!

thankyou, I might try it :) xx

Hi hobblealong

I sincerely hope that you are as well as can be? I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to your issue.

I suffer with this quite a lot and it really is unpleasant. I have never found a way to ease it, never mind stopping it. All I can do is try and avoid the situation where ever possible but this is easier said than done.

All my hopes and dreams for you

This is a new thing for me -just to confound the already painful to stand first thing in morning- ive found putting my shoes on helps and stand squarely before shuffling lol . Yeah hot water.. dont know why -have had xrays done but nothing showed up. Getting chills with the flushes its scary like having a bad dream!

Hello Hobblealong,

I wondered if you have mentioned your pain in your feet to your GP ? I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and many with Fibro seem to have this condition.

The hot and colds sweats, do them happen randomly? Or after exertion or food, have you noticed?

Ah! is the hot cold thing connected to the PF Emma? I'm at the podiatrists next week do you think I should mention it?

Hi hobblealong

That is amazing that you should say that, my right foot is the worst. For every time my left foot hurts my right foot / ankle hurts 10 times more!

I sincerely hope that you are as well as can be?

Ken
