I have been on these for quite a while and the only time I ever feel drowsy is when I have to increase my dose and try to do it too quickly. I am on 3 300mg capsules 3 times a day. They take a few days to kick in thoroughly with regards to lessening the pain but they do help.

Hi flossy1

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I have heard many of the members say they take Gabapentin, but I do not have this drug myself.

I have pasted you the NHS Choices link relating to Gabapentin side effects, so I hope that you find this useful:

nhs.uk/medicine-guides/page...

Please remember however, that we are all unique individuals and therefore we all react differently to both our illness and our medications. I want to wish you all the best of luck with your new medication.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi lilly1234

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Gabapentin is a neural inhibitor that helps prevent pain. I have pasted you a link below to the NHS Choices website that tells you more about this medication:

All my hopes and dreams for you
