i just had my ESA appeal and they told me they would write the decision to me in a few days... has anyone else been told this and won??

last year i was told the decision there and then and i won???? im a bit worried

Maddonna, reading this sounds positive! If they where not going to award you your ESA they would have no hesitation in telling you straight away. I just know of one other person who had similar situation and she was awarded in writing - it normally takes 3 to 5 working days. Fingers crossed. Care and Best Wishes.

sadly I was told the same thing and the FOLLOWING MORNING I got a no you cant go in support group letter.

You can ring the tribunal and hope the person who takes the call will tell you what the result is.

I did ring them but they said they didn't have access to the decision.... had a letter next day saying I was refused!!!! how can they award me last yr and now say no?? wot a contradiction

Did you include last years ruling with your appeal - stating no change in your health or it had got worse in the last 12 months.

yes I did but they only wanted to know how I was in Feb

I assume you told them there was no change or your health had deteriorated. Have you applied for a Statement Of Reasons? this must be done within a month of the decision.

That's good, you are on the right track. When you get the SOR see if they left anything out that would be relevant to your appeal.
