My wonderful partner had to take time off work to take me straight away sent letter of compliant and i'm sending another email to MP..
Feeling really unwell today, my body really hurts so i guess it going to be another flare..
Hope your all feeling alot better then sad old me....

This has happened to my son, His appointments were cancelled three times and once when we were just about to leave our house to attend the Atos assessment.
You have done what exactly what we did and wrote a letter of complaint to our MP and a copy to Atos head office, This really gets them to listen and take action.
Our final appointment everyone at the Atos assessment centre were walking on egg shells to ensure our appointment was kept on time and without delays waiting.
I also understand the stress and the reaction to our health attending Atos medical assessments and disruption to everyone concerned.
I wish you very best wishes on your outcome too, Can I also say that a written letter seem to be more effective in our case than an e-mail and you also have a hard copy for your records.......
Atos might telephone to fob you off with some excuse about workload etc, Don't accept their excuse by phone and insist on a written reply to your complaint, after all you had taken the time to write....
Do this and make their day and life difficult....
Hope this will make you just a bit better too.... xx
I am so sorry to read that yet again you have been let down and had to endure unnecessary stress over this. i want to wish you all the bets of luck and please try to not let it get to you too much.
Aww Viv So sorry you went through all that stress for nothing, they treat us no better than cattle. I am still waiting for my assessment not heard a thing since 14 December. Sending you hugs and hope they see you soon. Can you ask your GP to write a letter of complaint too for what they put you through. xx
This is making me quite nervous for my assessment. Haven't been scheduled my first one yet and am already dreading it. Hope when you finally get seen you have some sort of positive outcome, you deserve it after being messed round so much
Thank you both for your kind words, I think they've kept us waiting in the hope that we will wake up one morning and jump out of bed without Fibro and other problems and then were all go out and find our dream job and all will be good in the world..............
Lol that's what we all dream of doing...
I'm really nervous as well Sarah and thats what they want as well, I hope you here soon as well, Sarah have you tried contacting your MP? mine has been very good..
I read an article recently about a man in my home town with a heart condition and brain tumour who had about a year tops to live...and ATOS said he was fit for work, so the poor man died months later entirely penniless...been terrified about meeting them since.
Haven't contacted them yet, but will definitely do so if I get messed around as you have. Haven't even been contacted by ATOS for an appt yet, and honestly am praying I won't be for a while, even though the letter should be due any day now...so worried they'll tell me I'm fit to work and I'll be penniless just like that man, that the longer I can avoid that for, the better!
