Hi nothing wrong
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I understand completely! My wife and I use to go to a 1980s music night one Saturday night a month if I wasn't working. We use to dance the night away, it didn't use to finish until 3am. It was terrible going to bed when I got home as I use to have the horrid humming noise in my head!
Strangely enough, the club that use to do the music night closed down 3 weeks after my wife's MS diagnosis? That was quite a coincidence? We both miss our old lives.
I genuinely hope that you do not get too upset by not being able to do the things that you want to do on Saturday nights?
Take care my friend

My fav Saturday night is snuggled up on the sofa with my doglets watching rubbish tv - that is winter regime. In the summer I like to be out dead heading my flowers and watering as needed and just pottering in the garden as my health allows.
Unlike dear Ken, I could never go to night clubs, the lighting and noise there always gave me migraines so I think I've probably only ever been about three times and always used to say, I would pay someone for me not to go.......hehehehe

In another life we used to play our roles in Royal Air Force mess life. Dancing dinners speeches games dancing oh drinking a good red wine or gin and tonics. It was a lively 25years. So having been there done that got the t shirt I now have dinner with OH quarrel about the viewing on the box. Oh does not enjoy what I do so come 9.oo he is away up the stairs. Then Saturday night is mine a naughty movie well a movie which he would not entertain. Bed when I am ready. How times have changed! xxgins
Gosh, I too had a totally different life. In the late 80//early 90s I'd be out clubbing, then that changed to going out for meals and spending time with my OH and friends. Now I stay in, the tv only stays on till 8pm (as I turn it off as the blue light from TVs, iPads, computers and mobiles can cause sleep to be disturbed and I need all the help I can get to sleep) and then my OH and I listen to music and chat. If I'm lucky I get a foot rub... bliss. How times have changed. I sometimes get texts from my niece who's about to go out at 9pm - now I can't think of anything worse Just when I'm thinking that it's not long before bed. Not sure if it's the fibro or I'm just getting old

Hiya pip-r thanks for replying to my pic of jess! It's lovely when people get back to me ! I look forward to that many thanks Billie xx
I used to go to a disco, late seventies early eighties. Danced till late then walked home listened to some more music and finally went to bed, got early and went for a long walk (sigh) Changed when my kids arrived, that meant family movie night I can still do that thankfully now you have sparked off memory lane conversation with my oh
Hubby and I used to go out together regularly without even thinking about it. Then we started needing babysitters, then it started being too much like planning a major expedition, and it just became too much like much like hard work. We went out as a family on a Sunday lunch for example occasionally, but Saturday nights became me in with the kids whle Hubby went out alone. Now, I'm more likely to be Driver when Daughter needs a lift to and from work or going out, while Hubby gets to go out during Sat afternoon, after he's been to the allotment and comes home for late tea time. Hugs, Julie xx
i spent most saturday nights working, so it's nice to have a saturday off looking on the bright side. in reality, now the novelty of not having to go to work has long worn off. i would much rather be pain free & go to work even on a saturday night. i miss those days/nights
Ah yes the day of the disco ,the best bit was lounging all day Sunday to recover, which is now to painfull as have to keep on the move or seize up
Saturday nights spent walking the streets and standing on street corners until early hours of the morning! (I was a special constable) Friday's was the pub or club, then I got married and it would be a nice pub meal or a take away, now well ummm nothing xxxx
Yes! You really grabbed my attention for a whole 1.3 seconds til I read on, but it gave me a good giggle.
Take care
