Snowbird I just read ur post and wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your daughter. Ican only imagine how you feel as I would be totally devastated if it were my daughter. All I can advise is to rest as much as you can,you still need to keep yourself as well as possible. Make sure you are taking your pain meds throughout the day,I'm not sure how you take yours but I usually only take my pain. Meds when the pain gets too bad but I think it times of great stress you would need to take pain meds regularly before the pain gets overwhelming. Another idea might be to keep a journal and write down your feelings just to stop you getting overwhelmed. Of course you can write things down on here,we will all support you. Is her new husband supporting her? You don't have to do this all on your own, take as much help as you can. Have you heard of rescue remedy? It's a flower remedy that's very useful for stressful times, you just pop a couple of drops on your tongue when you feel too stressed or upset. I do hope this has been of some help, please take care of yourself and I hope your daughter is well very soon. Love n hugs xxxxx

Hi Snowbird.

So very sorry to hear about your daughter. It must be a very difficult time for you all. Be strong and positive as she will be better eventually and as her mum you will prove yet again that she can always count on you.

Take care of yourself at every opportunity and remember you need to pace yourself through this so that you can cope. Macmillan are great to talk to if you need any support for yourself too.

I will remember you all in my prayers

xx

So sorry to hear about your daughter..hoping that possitive thoughts of her future with her new hubby will pull her through all the treatment and back to good health x

Oh honey not fair! i have no helpful tips on this one other than take it day to day.

Hope you stay strong honey sending lots of positive soft hugs xxxx Rachie

I've been so caught up in my own woes that it made me feel ashamed, reading about your poor daughter. It must be dreadful for all of you. Theres nothing different that I can say, but Just try to stay strong. They say love can move mountains, don't know about that but it certainly will give your daughter a fighting chance!

I wish you all the very best of luck

You'll be in my thoughts & prayers xx

Just read your post, so so sorry, prayers to you and your daughter, your daughter will have good days on those days you rest as much as possible, my friend currently receiving chemo , due her fourth next week , few days after really rough but after that it settles then her daughter , family and friends relax a little as she's feeling a little better for a while, however this is your daughter and it's a different bond but use her good days as your rest days to charge your batteries shel know your there

Lots of love nicki xxxxx
