I'm a new member. I'm 39 years old and have had RA for 5 yrs and Fibro for 3yrs. Over the last year my condition has progressively been getting worse and I was at a very low point the other week with the dreaded 'fatigue' and decided to google information to see if there was any advice out there, and came across this site. After reading so many reviews with other members feeling exactly the 'same', it has helped me feel that I am normal and all the horrible symptoms of both of these conditions is not all in my head. Thank you to each member for sharing their experience and the author of this site...it really helps when you have other people to talk too that really understands

Hi and welcome, Amanda75. You are so right when you say what a difference having a site like this to offload your worries, check your symptoms are normal, well for fibro anyway, is. To know that you finally have a diagnosis, and can 'talk' to others who understand what you're going thru', is so good. Plus, we also have a laugh too, which can't be bad! Gentle hugs, Julie xx
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and I am so genuinely happy that it helps you so much.
I was wondering if you have seen our mother site FibroAction? I have pasted you a link to the site below:
hi there I too am fairly new to this site ( I have had fibro for nearly 16 years and RA for over 7) It is both informative and supportive, I look at the site every night. welcome from me too.
It is fantastic to hear such great feedback and to hear the site seems to be working well by achieving exactly the purpose it was designed for !
On behalf of FibroAction, Thank You to everyone involved in the site and all the members as we all work together to support each other and this seems to be a winning recipe!
Sorry to hear you've not been well, Emma. Thanks for the thanks and for doing so much for us and the whole site. Gentle hugs and healing thoughts, Julie xxxxx
Hi Amanda
Welcome to the forum/site and glad that you find it both a pleasant and helpful place to come to.
I feel the same way myself about it. It is really good to chat to other people who understand and as Julie said we do like to laugh too and let off steam now and again, 'laughter is the best medicine' as they say!
On a serious note we do take things seriously too so please ask away as someone will always try to answer you and there is always someone listening.
Looking forward to seeing you around and send you a bouquet of fibrobusting fluffies
A belated welcome from me too, I am glad that you have found what I consider to be one of the most informed and supportive of forums that there is for fibro. We hope to have a good mix of support and advice together with a fair sprinkling of fun and laughter to help us when the going gets tough.
The volunteers and mods do a lot of wonderful work behind the scenes, which we all appreciate very much
