Oh dear you take care and try and rest I know it's hard when you have kids if you are like me you would rather do things yourself than ask for help. I was the same when I had my knee replacement . Xx janetxx

Hi Vixen/Ros

You are so brave as the knee op is one of the most painful operations one can have, but the person who said this has had a new hip and knee so if a good authority but she did say it was worth it to get rid of the pain she had before the op.

Take Great care and kindest regards.

Terry

I have had some really good times in hospital both as a visitor and as a patient. the staff can be really great and mostly when my family come visiting they think their job is to make me laugh as much as possible and sometimes the whole ward has joined in,

Take care of that knee

Kindest regards

Terry

Good good, and DO YOUR EXERCISES! I know from bitter experience if you don't you reduce the quality of the outcome. Demand that physio and push the knee bends. :)

vixen49 in reply to fenbadger

Oh I am doing exercise by walking around bending the knee it's agonizing but I'm doing it

Good girl. Award yourself your favourite biscuit.

I'll join you and Sue in the 100m hobble :P

Don't kill yourself. I went to the limit then a tiny bit beyond and it improved the range of movement in tiny but noticeable increments. :)

Good luck with your knee I have had 9 surgeries on my left knee and a number on my right along with a replacement which unfortunately has never been any good but thats just me have to be trouble. I only got it done privately couldn't have it on NHS as i was classed as too young. My ex had BUPA so i was lucky now I'm back to NHS and can't get anything done. Take it easy and don't try and rush it. It will get easier the more you bend it but it is painful so just grit your teeth and do gentle exercises each day.

hi Concerned. Is that the Andromeda in your avatar?

Please join in this site and have some fun. Seriousness aside we have virtual parties where you can eat what you want.

HOWEVER it raises a question. We hear that if you train in your head the body acts as though you've really done it - like Rooney practices kicks in his sleep. So if you eat virtual biscuits and cake, do you still put on weight.

I say all this aware of your profile and what you say is perfectly true. I have a similar raft of conditions and have similarly cut out refined/processed foods.

Contrite Badger with soulful Badger eyes :O

And yes, it was meant as a joke

Hi Ros
