Hi marialang
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I really like this, so thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.
I think today is a gift, and that is why we call it the 'present'.
Take care

Hi All
Marialang such true words I think a lot of people really need to live by this mantra and then the world would be a much better place.
That is good Ken I never thought about it that way.
Take care and kindest regards
Terry

Thank you for this, Maria. I am now 70 (just) and so I have lived more than three quarters of my life. What you have written really boosts my intention of getting the best out of what is left for me. It is true - as you get older, time seems to pass by faster so no time for regretting the past.

Never a truer word. My gran used to come out with, as she put it, words to live life by so not only did I enjoy your the sentiment, it reminded me of some one who was really special to me. A very big thank you for that
That is very profound of you my friend! My mum use to say. 'You can have it while I've got it but you can't when I ain't!
Things we remember from our childhood?
Take care
