Just like beer, it has malt, hops, barley and sugar. That is four of your five a day! And since tobacco is a vegetable, just have a smoke with your pint and you have all of your five a day in one go!

This is just so true! I have a friend who is a strict vegan. If by some chance I was to cook and eat her, I may never have to eat vegetables again as she is full of vegetables?

Coincidentally, my GP is referring me to a dietician as I keep losing weight! I genuinely do not understand how?

Hi All

I totally agree with the sentiment that this site deserves a hearty round of applause, the rants the enquiries the humour is just so good for us all.

Thank you all, I know I really appreciate it and I am not alone in feeling that, for every one post on the page as a reply there probably at least three who can't write back as they just do not have the energy to write a reply but do appreciate it anyway.

A very late but very big cheer! Terry made a point I hadn't even thought of when he said about the people who didn't have the energy to reply. It made me think, I really appreciate all the comments, crafts, comedy and support that is given freely on this forum. You all deserve a great big hug and for the sweet tooth out there I made treacle toffee if you care to chance it. It will not in any way count towards your five a day but its a reward for being fantastic people who care. Thank you and hope you are all as well as can be, Susan x

Ok, no toffee for Ken Not a great day having trouble with my back , legs and stairs the funny part is that my office is up twisty stairs and I have been up and down a lot so far today.. Hope your day is better, big treacle toffee hugs (they're sticky and hard to get rid of) xx
