Hi Foggy, I think most of us on this Night-shift should have this Tattooed on inside of brain & possibly forehead. Will nothing short of a miracle get our mind to shut down, especially @ night times when house still & silent!

How are you my friend? Sweet dreams to all when finally get there! ((gentle hugs)) & Fondest love Lynn XX<3<3XX

Hi Lynn, silly me went straight off after we spoke and didn't come to until about 10.30, I suppose we have to be grateful for small mercies, at least I actually got 3 hours, sleep :o I hope you are ok and that you manage some sleep at some point. I long for silence, if my tinnitus would just stop for a while it would be so so lovely ho hum ...... Maybe I ought to start counting petunias as I prick them out, that could be a cunning plan..... ;-)

Sweet dreams to you my friend as and when you get there :-)

No worries Foggy, I am sorry I disturbed your sleep but so pleased you managed to drop back off and have a few hours much needed sleep!

No I hav"nt visited the land of nod as yet, eyes stinging so fatigued but brain just won"t shut down! Thanks for that post, really applicable to all of us on the Night=watch, tick, tock, tick, tock, as hubby just snores away next to me, if only!

Hope & pray you manage to get to land of nod soon for those sweet dreams.

Good night, God Bless, ((gentle soothing hugs)) Love Lynn XX<3<3XX

Bless you foggy, so true. I really feel for you and all who are still awake in the early hours and those who yearn for sleep. And as for tinnitus, it's horrible, wish it would stop! Gentle hugs, Julie xx

Spot on as usual! I have a teapot stand that sums me up, it is a little prayer....Dear Lord, please grant me patience, but I want it right now!....when I can't sleep I keep telling myself to be patient it will come, and then 2 seconds later I'm frustrated because I'm not asleep :)

I actually eventually got off in the early hours if this morning by doing the finding the names of fruits and vegetables and starting with -A (what a surprise :o) and so on through the alphabet, I don't think I got past D....... I will try this again tonight and if it works I will of course claim the patent on it and flog it off to you all amassing funds for FibroAction ........only jesting :d :d
