This Post Is Not Intended As An Advert - It Is A Thank You To The Poster Who Recommended I Try..........

..... A particular brand of shampoo and conditioner, (plantur 39), for my thinning hair. So sorry I can't remember your name, thank you for posting about it. It is a bit on the expensive side, both are around £6, but as they appear to be working, I am happy to pay. My mum said she is going to use it now too.

Only drawback is that you need to wash your hair daily, and it hurts my back & neck washing my hair in the sink, wish we had a shower! Also, hate to see how much hair is coming out each time! But hopefully the end result will be good, (Nearly said, "worth it"!!), so am pushing thru' the pain barrier! Hope everyone is having a 'good hair day', hugs, Julie xxx

Hi Julie63

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? If it works for you 'go for it'. I have never tired it myself as the advert puts me off, mind you, most adverts put me off a product.

I always wash my hair in the shower as I simply cannot bend over a sink, it is too painful.

Take care

Hi julie63 it was me .. But u know as a guideline they say to use it daily but still works the same maybe a little slower if u use it not as often! Yes it's expensive but so well worth it .. Tbh any shampoo wit a caffeine release will work, it stimulates the hair follicle ... Hope ur well xo

please check the rocking affect with your gp or pharmacist - it could be agitation from the meds, nothing to be alarmed about, but worth mentioning. I'm not medically trained, I always think changes should be reported to the gp.

Hi weelamb

I am so sorry to read that you are having these side effects, I agree with sandra99b, as you really should discuss this with your GP as soon as possible. I am not a doctor but 150 mg daily is the maximum dosage of Amittriptyline.

Please take care of yourself
