Was a slow and painful start to day this morning, then whiletrying to make breakfast i managed to smack myself in the face with cupboard door. PAIN . Later i realised my nose was bleeding, and when i went to check i had a large swelling on one side of nose which was bleeding. I looked like I'd just stepped out of the ring. Anyhow, I am constantly damaging myself and wondered how many of you are the same. I have actually been accident prone from birth, it was always a family joke when i was young, but now i wonder if that was a kind of sign of fibro, I also had athritis from age 11, not diagnosed til bout 14/15. Would be interested to know if anyone else was like this?

Finally going to sleep.
Hi Shazzzy
I sincerely hope that you manage to get a wonderful sleep! Have you remembered to put your clocks forward by one hour? There is another hour of your night gone!
I have been quite accident prone for several months, since just before my Fibro diagnosis. It cannot be a coincidence?
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken x
Hi Ken, could not remember wether to put the clock back or forward so judt left it ! I dont think it is a coincidence either. Sleep well when it comes. Xx
Hi Shazzy Oh dear you are having a rough time at the moment,I hope it doesn`t last long..
A simple rhyme to remember the clocks is` Spring forward .Fall back, gentle hugs sue
Morning I hope your face is feeling better now - silly thing. I use whitch hazel on bumps very soothing! As a child I was always getting bumps spraining my ankle, falling over things , hitting solid object or them rising up to break my path :).
It got better after I was about 19 but then when I did crash it was a big one. - 6 months of work that sort of thing-
Still today is Mothers day clocks have changed so I sorry we have lost an hour.
need coffee

Morning shazzy, yes I'm like that, had fibro and spondylosis of the spine since I was 11 among other things, my parents were always saying I'd trip over a matchstick, I'm 72 now, and still as bad, only now I'm finding I'm dropping things too, I really do feel it's all down to fibro, when I first had it , it was called muscular rhumatism, but hey ho that's life, nowt we can do about it lol, take care have a nice day....gentle hugs,......Dee x
Hi there yes yes yes! I am always hurting myself doing something clumsy, 3 weeks ago I dropped a really heavy chair on my foot it was completely black for 2 weeks and appears I have broken a bone on the top of the foot, as if I have not got enough pain with fibro and ra, then yesterday was taking a plate of quiche out of microwave to put on the bench, slammed it into the bench rather than going on the bench, the plate broke into many pieces and as it fell deeply cut my finger and blood pouring everywhere and it would not stop bleeding for about an hour, I always miss my judgement on putting things down and walking thru doors. Hope you feeling better today. trish
Hi Denvajade totally with you on the misjudging things and i broke two toes opening a window, window caught a brass ornament thst sailed thru the air to land with precision on my toes. Also ran over my foot with an industrial trolley full of books, foot turned black and toenail fell off. Dont know how were still in one (broken) piece !!
