Must admit that I haven't. I do have a tri-walker, but this does not have a seat on it either. I have seen people with the four wheeled walker with seats and they look really useful.

Take care

I have a 4-wheeled walker with seat. It has a handy storage bag underneath.

Maybe I should upgrade to one of these? There are times when I am out that I could do with having a sit down.

take care

Hi Ken, yes, I,m thinking about it, as long as the backpack isn,t too heavy. I,ve read quite a few reviews, the cheaper ones seem to be poor quality, and I don,t know if I,m ready to spend a lot more money for a really good one. I,m getting really good at checking for possible sitting down places when I,m out, in the that leg-stopping fatigue comes on suddenly! All the best xx

One thing I used when we went to the narrow boat rally was a light weight camping stool, Three legs with a triangle of canvas to sit on.folds up easily. The draw back is that you need to be stable on your feet and able to rise without help... sue

Wildwoman it might be worth asking your GP for a physio referral as they can then assess what you need and should be able to supply it for you. I have asked my physio for a rollator, which is the 4 wheel frame walker with a seat as I am unable to walk any distance without needing regular rests. She says once she has completed my assessment she will put a referral forward for me to get one. I can't wait as it will give me so much independence.
