This reminds of the lovely people on this and how they despite their own pain they share the pain and worries of others with love and compassion and a little laughter to cheer people up. I know myself that there have been times I would not have ...

Thank you for a lovely pic and lovely words...

I'm still new and i cant tell you how wonderful it is to join you all everyday, when my own pain is too much and i'm feeling lonely and scared about how much my life has changed, i find that with a click of a button i have a giggle and i'm in friendly company with people who understand how good and bad days feel with fibro....

Thank you Sophie xxx

Thanks Sophie, that,s what makes this site a sanity saver! Have a good day. Fibro is really scary I agree, especially at the beginning, but someone,s always here to listen. If you,ve read any of the other potty posts, you,ll know my favourite hiding place from fibro monster is behind the sofa, I expect there are quite a lot of us behind sofas at times! Xxx

its not until I became so ill I needed to sit on my sofa that I realised I was too big for it, I'm 6ft (height not width) now I am awaiting a new sofa thanks to family, it was measured so I can sit on it with my feet up, can't wait!

Oooowww how lovely, a cosy sofa, mine has been taken over by the doglets and I've got my beanbag which i must say is one of the most comfy things I've ever sat on/in. It really supports my back and emits warmth, not too much, just right. :d

What colour have you gone for ?

Sophie,I have the opposite of you I'm 5 ft 2inches ,I find most sofas to long so that I can only sit with my feet up as the back of my legs hurt .Thanks for that lovely picture and the sentiment that goes with .x

in reply to Matrix

I have the same problem, I can`t visit my sister in law for long because I find their leather sofas too painful to sit on for more than a few minits

I made sure I tried this one out for size, width and height, its a soft leather so should be ok, at least it was in the shop. If not may get the assistance of my five grandchildren to soften it a little more, they will like that.

Mayrose 54 when i go to my daughters i have to have 3 cushions behind me to sit up ,its so annoying .xx

in reply to Matrix

It doesn`t work on leather seats I keep sliding off.

Me too :o LOL

Plus my feet don't touch the floor if I sit right back on a couch so I look like a kid with my legs n feet dangling heheheheheeh :P

in reply to

Me too. This suit is rapidly falling apart and I dread having to break in a new one

. It`s also a problem getting one for a 6`4" down to me at 5` 2". :O

When we had a camper van hubby had to build a wooden foot rest for me.

in reply to

awww that's cute aww :)

5'3" for me I need a step to stand on too for getting things out of the kitchen cupboards :P LOL
