i really like this idea and I suppose when you are on a real downer you could read them and then it should lift you back up.

Hugs Belinda

Wow what a brilliant idea hope you keep it up! Not sure I could but I will think about it- maybe a book I can write them in would suit me better, :) xgins

Hi, I did this in 2013 with my husband and daughter and can't wait to open it with them tonight. We've had a pretty bad year with health & family, but Just looking at the tub full of little pieces of paper helps remind us that there have been lots of happy times too.

I try to do a photo album at the end of each year too & will include these happy memory notes to make a scrapbook.

Will definitely do again this year - like the idea of using a diary for it too xxx

Great to hear you've done this already this year ! I am definitely going to do it for 2014. I think I am still going use a jar & write on decorative pieces of paper, then I can maybe use them to make a decorative scrap book.

I think I would do the same as you look back over the year together on New Years Eve, what a lovely thing to do with your family to remember happy memories of the past year.

Enjoy reminiscing :) & Happy New Year :)

Emma :)

Great idea but wonder if I would have the energy to follow it through for a year! Hugs Saskia XX

it's for nice things, you could write nothing for ages, then several things in one go!

I have some days where even finding just one in it would be a bonus! :)

Fantastic idea! Can we add it to the list I suggested of ways to help us deal with our pain and other nasties?
