Hi again doormat! I used to get the same feeling! Eventually we worked out that actually what I was feeling was down to stress. Stress can cause all sorts of symptoms, whether or not that was a placebo effect, but I know that it has helped me, knowing that it isn't some in life threatening in the making,
I'm sending you lots of positive healing vibes
Foggy x
Maybe read the thread on yesterdays post from The Author - entitled - I was diagnosed a month ago....
Maybe there are some points that resonate with you in my two posts...
Hi doormat, the muscle in my throat keeps going into spasm, especially when I drink water, it's a fibro symptom, and was told its not life threatening so not to panic, easier said than done tho.....and as you say to take tablets a Nightmare, there have Been times when I have coughed and spluttered and chocked when eating my meal, very embarrassing, I eat alone now as I feel it could put other people off their food....hope this helps...hugs..Dee x
Well this has been really helpful to me as I have the same problem, I feel as if I cannot swallow at all sometimes, this site has taught me so much and so many of my problems are all related to fb and not to the stress I had when the kids were younger as the doctor been blaming it all on that!! When I knew it wasn't what had happened 5 years ago, because the symptoms were diffrent god only knows what he's put in my notes as I went to a younger doctor and the first time he was really nice, the next time he was quoting word for word what my own doctor had been saying! Why are they do horrible?
Hi to doormat you have just described myself this time last year suffering same symtoms. I would like to say hellllllloooooooo to all members. This is my first time on here, you are all so helpful helping one another. You make me laugh and smile quite alot with positive thoughts, pic of day. Hope I can be part of this lovely forum. Trouble for me my brain (fibro foggy thingy majigs) takes forever to do things.lol like most of us. Before I forget I had to go and see ENT to sort out my throat, had to have numerous tests done, then onto another specialist. takecarex
