I have added the shells now, (they'd been hiding from me) just got to do the seaweed and it will be done, I. Think it looks more beach like now..........hopefully

Hi jilly, yes, it is meant to be, I have some shells to sew in and want to add what hopefully will looking something like seaweed, it is still an ongoing piece of work, but I'm hoping it's heading in the right direction

it's brilliant! is this wet felting? I haven't got the hang of that yet but make felted brooches and animals and find it very therapeutic. I'll look forward to seeing your beech completed

Awww thank you April, actually no, it's needle felting which I've done on to a base of a jumper which I felted together to make a stable base. I then just felted the wool into place and added things here and there, I'm very much a novice, it's not long ago that I started doing it, I wanted a project to keep me occupied during the winter.

I would love to see some of your brooches and animals, perhaps you could post a picture of some ?
