My hands are painful today white fingers for hours pins & needles

Hi,

do you think you might have Carpel Tunnel problems? Also if you lean on your elbows a lot, it can cause the fingers to go numb then feel pins and needles. I think you should pop along to your GP and see what he/she thinks and what can be done to help you.

Hello Elbeth,

Any new symptoms I would alway advise considering making an appointment with your GP to discuss the above. However, for your interest only there is a condition called Raynauds which could be what you are describing maybe. Here is a link below;

If these symptoms persist please consider seeing your GP as he/she has access to all your medical history and can use this to provide an accurate diagnosis.

Thank you for your message yes i have raynaud the pins and needle are because of the fibromyalgia& high blood pressure

Hi elbeth , yes I have carpul tunnel and have recently had an operation on my left hand and waiting to have the right hand done !! It's helped loads for the pins & needles / numbness . I now feel as if the right hand is so much worse but drs say its because one hands better and one the same so it feels worse !?!

Not having so much numbness has helped for sleeping but I've far less strength in the operated hand and can't lean on my hand it's like having an electric shock this I'm told may take months to go or it may never go ?! But I still think its better to have the op than not !!! I am sure that it's linked to fibromyalgia it seams to be yet another symptom !!!! Good luck !!
