Hi

It would probably be more useful to ring the pharmacist, they have a lot of training in medical interactions. I had one who refused to make up a prescription until he had phoned the doctor to get it amended.

I do know you are not supposed to take St Johns Wort with any anti-depressants, but not heard anything about levo which I take too.

I would be interested in your post when you find out.

I had side effects with St John's Wort a few years ago, so can't recall exactly what they were; was surprised as had taken it before while on same medication. The pharmacist told me that it is not regulated like conventional medicine so that there can be differences in the composition by different manufacturers.

It is important to speak to your pharmacist if you want to try any remedies, especially if, like me, you take warfarin.

Thanks everybody for your replies, I spoke to my chemists, and was told to give them a wide berth, so that is what I will do, they wasn't actually for me they were for a very good friend. I take Duloxetine.

Many thanks again Joyce x
