After a 3 hr traumatic painful anxious journey to london from Buckinghamshire. I had my assessment with a very nice lady who was only about 30 and admitted to being unclear about fibro.. I was in there an hour (i recorded the whole appoinment with her permission on my double dictaphone so she could put a copy with my file) all she asked was what medication was on what other ailments I had and then my everyday routine...she then did fingertip tests and spelling different words backwards....raise my legs and arms and then said 1 more question would you be here if you didnt have too..!!! What a stupid question to ask.....aaaarrrr...then she said if you dont win please please appeal... talk about confuse me...then I had to do another 3 hour journey home.. also when I asked why I had to travel so far when they dont expect you to travel more than 90 min her answer was thats dwp and atos for you... what an experience today has been...now I will sit and wait to see what the decision maker makes of the report... in so much pain tonight my daughter has typed this for me.. I recommend everyone if they can record any interviews to help in the future if need be...debs x

OH bless you Debs, have a good rest I hope it goes well for you.

where in London was it? I'm going to ask for my next assessment for ESA to be recorded as you may well know about the fiction that ends up in the report

Ty Maz...I had to go to Camden for it.. 1 hour bus ride...30 min wait 1 hr 10 train ride and what they say takes 5 mins from Euston st to the centre took me 30 mins... my poor dad was not used to going snail pace..lol...bless him..but very supportive and had a few choice words to say today as well..I really do recommend recording it the only thing is you will have to have a double recorder or 2 dictaphones starting at the same time...and make sure you sign both tapes and get the interviewer to sign both as well..bed time now sleep well.... (((((((gentle hugs)))))))) xx

they told me that i wouldn t have to travel more than 90 minutes(although a few years ago)and the journey they calculated took 2 hours.contacted them and got to go to my local hospital (as well as having a degree of agoraphobia where i cannot go to places i dont know)

When I called them to change the appointment venue I was told that was the only one available with appointments. ..I am sure they do it to see if we are serious about our illness...well this cookie will keep going even if I do crumble...xx

Hi

I have yet to get an appointment, please could you tell me where I could get a double recorder from so I could record the interview?

I am living in dread of it as I do not perform well under that kind of pressure.

Take care and kindest regards
