Signed and commented. I may not have applied for myself as yet but I have done so for my son and seen my mother go through the process. Why do they assume people are out to get the money and that we don't need that support?

Last week we had a social services person round regarding some respite for me as my sons carer. He couldn't understand why I had never recieved help for him before (he's 18) and considered the carers allowance to be a joke.

Have signed and shared..I have got mine on 21st october 3 hour travelling to get there appointment time 830am...when I called to change appointment place and time I was told that is the only place and can only offer 9am same day...my mum has been through this and she got an appointment 20mins away...also been told by my doctor there is closer places...so angry and frustrated about the whole process....

Atos cancelled first appt . Rang 2 hours before next one due. Went to them couple years ago they cancelled 5 times. Told by ESA don't need to go. Now form from ESA saying why I didn't attend .We can all do without all this added stress.

I think we should be asking the government to explain why they paying a private company like Atos over £100 million per year and paying even more to private contractors to put sick people who can't work on useless work activity courses. Money that could be used to improve the NHS who assess patients fitness for work as it is. Get the government to explain this criminal waste of tax payers money and we will have a very good case to get rid of the whole bally lot of them. The fraudsters who created this scam should face criminal charges IMO.

The DWP make their mind up when you put you are living with someone who goes to work. In WRAG for 365 days contribution based, day 366 on income based, so if anyone is earning in your house they are expected to support you financially. ATOS, appeals, tribunals all a waste of time but need to be done to appear "Fair" Even the Job Centre is caught up in this farce and they hate it as much as we do.

Medical assessments by practitioners who do not know you or even the condition you are suffering from are a joke but earn plenty of money for ATOS. I am so angry about this merry-go-round I wish Dispatches or Panorama would pick this up and do the decent hatchet job it needs.

panorama did a programme on the Atos scandal it was called ' disabled or faking it' they may have done one called 'britain on the sick' as well...........dave camoron showed Atos the contract with the things they have to do to fail folk & he refused to show the contract details on this sham for the bbc ....its the system which needs changing atos are just shameless doing wot dave tells them for 100 million a year....also from October the 28th 2013 during reconsideration people are on fresh air during that period all dave camorons doing he is the instigator & his other tory sadists...

I've not had a medical for the change of benefit but I was phoned on the morning of mine and asked I could climb about 30 stairs. I told them not and they said they would be in touch with another appointment, that was about May and I've not herd any more.

The dealings I've had with them is for 2 tries for DLA and never got it, even on appeal.

As I've had some other medical problems diagnosed I could apply again but just don't fancy filling in all the forms in and then have another medical from ATOS its just not worth the hassle
