Hi I have been just doing small jobs, and little walks. Does anyone have tight swollen hands and fingers after you have walked? Its strange, but things are not like they use to be, and I find it hard to accept.

Hi Jan, that is strange isnt it, I wake up every day with swollen hands and fingers, in fact I keep saying I should take my rings off before going to bed, as one of these days they might not go down again lol, have you been to the docs about this if so what does he say??? gentle lhugs to you..... Hi Jan.
My hands and feet swell and go red from time to time. The swelling usually goes down after a little while, sometimes place my hands in cold water. There has been a few times when it's lasted for about 6 weeks. During that time I had a rheum appt but they didn't think it was important.
Fibro changes your life, the hardest thing to do is to accept it. When you do it makes it easier to deal with, one less stress to deal with. It took me several years to do that.
I wish you well.

Thank you both for your replies, my fingers ache all day even when I am just sitting. They only feel tight when I have walked around.I am finding it hard to accept fibro, because it totally has changed who I am, and how I live.
