hi does anyone have trouble with swallowing? I very often feel that my food gets stuck in my throat?

Hi Tofty,

I do. I've got an underactive thyroid too so thought there might be a connection there. I'm actually eating a sandwich now and it keeps getting stuck in my throat.

hi, I had this problem for quite a while & was finally sent for a tube through my nose, checking into my throat (I refused to have an endoscopy, as I have a phobia about being sick.) I also had a barium swallow test. As expected, they were clear! The problem eventually righted itself with the exception of if I'm stressed or eating hard foods in public! Wierd!

Hope you get yours sorted out - it can be quite scary,can't it?

Have you had a scope done of your esophogus? I have to gety throat stretched atleast one a year. I have scleraderma in my throat. You might wanna talk to your Dr.
