Does anyone suffer with joints popping out of joint ?
No, but my lower back sometimes feels like it does, and often when I move my shoulders, wrists and knees they make the most disgusting cracking noises, like a bit of wood being snapped!
Hi, me too. My left leg has 'crackled' since I was born and sometimes I am breathless with the pain of it. It is ghastly. I grit my teeth or yell and hang onto the wall. However I am to a certain extent aware of it so I try not to make it worse by hurrying down stairs, or to catch a bus. I am slow, dignified, and fat instead!
Hi Paul30,
I'm wondering how it happens to you? At the moment, i'm experiencing nasty pain in on of my arms. It feels like my shoulder is out, but I have done nothing to justify this feeling. I keep putting off going to the doc, thinking that it is probably just pain. But honestly.. its nothing like i've had before.
Could you please explain your experience?
Thanks
hi my hips falls out all the time my shoulder left and right have been operated on because of them rubbing so i had 05 cm taken off each one my wrists popped out when i had sex once now it dose it all the time now my body just fells like its falling apart can not do a lot now a days but i would love to i was so out going up till about about 2006 then the pain started then its just keeps getting worse so i am not sure what i can and can not do x
Wow.. that must be soooo painful Paul. So sorry to hear. It sounds like what I experienced may have been a 'feeling like it was' situation. My arm has been slowly getting better, since I posted last to you. I had not seen a doctor to verify anything.
Have you tried those wrist band things.. not sure what they are called... but sports people use them to keep the joint stiff.
I understand when you say the pain is getting worse... I have felt this also. I used to be able to at least work part time, up until a couple of years ago (although it was hard). Now, there's no way I could at all.
It's hard to know what to do next isn't it? It's such a mysterious disease. Some of the symptoms we can get kind of used to , for want of better words. But gosh, there are so many new and disturbing things that come out of the blue. I do not know what to do about it either. Other than trust that I am still doing my best, still breathing and living, having fun when I can. ONe thing I must say is, because of all the extra time on my hands for so long... I have explored a very simple and beautiful connection to nature. Birds in particular. It calms me a lot.
Never give up Paul. Keep exploring when you can... Be You, and connect with nature too.. She is a wonderful comfort.
xo
have you been to you docs about this yet if not i would go and see what it is
i too have probs with what feels like my left leg coming out of its socket, i can be walking and it will feel like it has come out, and then i can hardly walk with the pain, until it pops back in. i did mention this to my gp but he said it is a large joint and not able to pop out really! just a case that it locks up. i also crack and crunch all over especially knees, shoulders and back. i have had to have carpal tunnel release on both wrists, years of steroid injections etc
hi yes it can pop out i have had a xray done and they say it Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) (clicky hips) so i will have to have two new hip but i am to young for that when i am 55 to 60 i can have them done so sorry that your doc is saying that i would go back it took me 2 years for my doc to see what was wrong with me just keep going back i had that from birth they as but i don't know as don't know my mum and my dad can't remember a lot
I know this is an old thread but I put up with my leg 'going' and went and saw the gp, said it felt like a trapped elastic band inside.... Turns out it's hip Dysplasia and I've got the cartilage getting trapped between the joint...apparently micro surgery will trim off the excess if it becomes a problem... I have RA since I was diagnosed aged 15... The hip Dysplasia diagnosed aged 40... Great joy!! Still, at least it answers questions like why I've always felt so feeble......
Yes, I am going out of my mind in pain, n my Dr. Doesn't want to do anything!
