whenyou are dignose fb you ashould be able to claim but you really need full back up from your gp and consultants as they will need all the full details on how it effects you and your life

fibro is recognised but as jahni said you will need full backing from your doc,s ect. Also get a welfare rights worker involved to help fill out the forms as if not done in the right way could stop you getting the benefit. My tip is take your worse day and base all the questions around that. But saying that working for the goverment with fibro is another matter they are not at all understanding

for 4 years I got Disabled Living Allowance, which was stopped in April 2011. i was told by letter that I did not qualify in the first place, 4 years ago. I tried to get my appeal listened to but failed. I am thinking of going back to my GP and getting CAB to help me again. I feel very depressed, miserable and rejected because of all this. I am seeing a therapist at the local Mental Health Unit NHS service, and trying to cope.
